smart-sync is an innovative cardiovascular gating device based on Doppler ultrasound for 1.5T and 3T MR systems. It provides for the first time a direct fetal cardiac gating signal and enables prenatal cardiac MR examinations of the fetal heart. Likewise, smart-sync can be used as an alternative to the ECG for adult cardiac gating without being influenced by the magnetic field of the MRI. smart-sync is integrated wirelessly and is compatible with all major MR vendors.
